A beautiful Bicentennial walk that comes with a refreshing sea breeze that makes it pleasant even on those hot Queenslands days and it takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour for walkers when doing the full walk at a leisurely pace.
As I said earlier, it is maintained and a very well planned walk that sees plenty of traffic between both visitors and locals alike, offering magnificent outlooks both to the open water.
The Bicentennial Walk starts from Airlie Beach’s brilliant lagoon pool and passes through the Coral Coast resort. Just a few more steps from here walkers will also have the opportunity to spot exotic marine life such as turtles and fish by looking down into the water as the walkway follows the waterline throughout almost the entire walk.
As you walk further north, you will go through lots of beautiful cafes, great restaurants and a gorgeous view of the sunset along the way which gives travellers to take top snaps for their lifetime memory.
The track winds its way past Abell Point Marina where many day drippers head out to the islands and reef in a cruise ship.
The gorgeous walk will end in Cannonvale beach which is the preferred spot for families to play, a safe beach for swimming and a photographer’s favourite spot.
