I stayed for one and half days and had an amazing time on Airlie Beach, I also had a great breakfast with a view of the ocean before I continued my journey towards Wolf Creek.

Airlie Beach is perfect to dip in turquoise blue water, sunbathing and for an evening picnic. The beach offers lots of facilities and a mammoth playground for kids and it’s a perfect place for a relaxed breakfast, lunch or dinner with an incredible view of the beach.

When I reached Airlie beach, the first thing I wanted to do was sky diving and look at the gorgeous view of Airlie from the top but due to some issues I could not do it but I would say that no trip is complete to Airlie Beach without taking part in at least one activity or take part in an adventure.
There are a lot of things to do in Airlie Beach and it all depends on how much you want to spend. You can choose Skydiving, scenic flight over Whitsundays and Heart Reef, helicopter flight, sailing, jet ski, ocean rafting, trips to the Great Barrier Reef and many more only in Airlie Beach.
Lots of shops and backpackers offer all different kinds of tours, packages and I think it’s best to book once you reach there as there are not many options are available online unless you don’t want to miss out on specific thing which you really want to do.
Honeyeater Lookout
Spot the native wildlife and enjoy the incredible view, Honeyeater Lookout is around 8 km roundtrip from the car park in Nara Crescent, it gives you a panoramic view of Airlie Beach.
Hiking is not for the faint hearted, as the terrain is rugged and steep but it’s totally worth it as the view will take your breath away. Don’t forget to bring lots of water and a camera to click the magnificent view of Airlie beach.
Airlie Beach Lagoon
The Airlie Beach Lagoon, situated in the heart of town right on the shoreline of the ocean, should be one of the top Airlie Beach activities lists and the lagoon is the ideal spot to relax and unwind yourself.
4,000 square metres public pool is the best spot to swim, sit and watch kids splash water, read your book, or enjoy your lunch looking at the gorgeous view of the ocean. It offers admission, barbecue facilities, bathrooms, change rooms and shaded picnic areas all for free.
